DIY Triangle Wooden Photo Holder
Every now and and then I notice myself looking for some new ideas to brandish the overwhelming amount of photos and postcards I have at home. Is information technology just me? Or tin you relate to the situation where yous are surrounded by inspiring images showcased in many different ways and styles, and even so – still want to modify things up and add together something new? Well, this is my life, just thanks to this petty obsession I have a new creation to bear witness you lot, which for some time (likely very curt!) satisfed my inner designer'southward needs.
Making your ain, little decorations is extremly satisfying, so I highy recommend you lot to get artistic and try to come up upwardly with some new ideas. In the meantime, take a look at what I have created out of a manifestly woods plank:
You lot will need:
- a wooden plank
- a wood saw
- ruler
- pencil
- sand paper
- tape
- paint of your choice
Instructions:
Note: If you are not confident to apply a saw, y'all might ask at your local hardware store to cut the piece for y'all.
1. Draw a triangle shape od your prefered size on the wood plank, and then cut it out using saw.
ii. Utilize sand paper to polish the edges and remove all the possible splinters from the sides.
3. Make a cutting on elevation of the triangle, and so polish information technology from the inside using sandpaper once again. Wash the triangle well, removing all the dust and dirt and wait for it to dry well before going into the next step.
4. Marker the expanse you want to paint ('the top of your mountain') on both sides of the wood with a tape to get a direct lines after painting.
5. Paint both sides of the triangle using your preferred colour and wait for information technology to dry. I really like the combination of raw wood with white paint, however you tin go for any await you like.
6. Once information technology dried well, carefully and slowly remove the tape.
Ta daa! Set up! You tin can use the 'Mount holder' in a few unlike ways – to display some of your favorite photos or postcards or as a napkin holder on your table. Information technology's a little accompaniment which fits well also into the upcoming Vacation season. What do you think?
